About the Role

As our Nutrition Specialist, you are the bridge between science and implementation—helping high-performing individuals make meaningful, lasting changes despite demanding schedules.

Your role is to remove friction, ensuring patients don’t just understand the plan but actually integrate it into their lives. You'll combine deep nutritional expertise with behavioral psychology to craft personalized strategies that drive results. You’ll analyze glucose data, body composition metrics, and biomarkers, pinpointing the barriers that hold patients back—whether physiological, psychological, or practical. Then, you’ll build solutions that make adherence feel effortless.

  • Develop Precision Nutrition Plans – Apply metabolic science to create highly tailored nutrition protocols that optimize glucose, balance caloric intake, and support lean muscle retention.
  • Translate Data into Actionable Strategies – Use CGMs, body composition metrics (ALMI, VAT), and biomarkers to build customized recommendations that fit seamlessly into patients' routines.
  • Coach for Real-World Success – Understand individual barriers, build trust, and help patients implement strategies that work—even in high-pressure environments like travel or intense work phases.
  • Integrate Sleep & Stress Optimization – Ensure patients are set up for success by addressing stress and sleep alongside their nutrition.
  • Create Efficient Systems – Design meal planning, tracking, and adherence strategies that fit into busy schedules while delivering real results.
  • Collaborate with Physicians & Specialists – Work alongside top medical professionals to ensure a fully integrated approach to metabolic health.
  • Continuously Refine & Improve – Monitor patient progress, refine approaches based on outcomes, and contribute insights to optimize our methodologies.

About this role

Early Medical's Nutrition Specialist role sits at the intersection of precision metabolic science and behavioral coaching, designed for someone who can translate complex nutritional data into sustainable real-world changes for high-performing patients. You'll spend half your time in one-on-one coaching—analyzing glucose monitors, body composition metrics, and biomarkers to identify what's actually blocking adherence, then building customized strategies that fit into demanding schedules. The other half involves turning those insights into actionable protocols, collaborating with physicians to ensure integrated care, and staying current with the latest nutrition science and coaching techniques.

This is a fully remote position within a longevity-focused telemedicine practice led by Dr. Peter Attia, part of a broader ecosystem that includes The Drive podcast and the Early digital health platform. You'll need an RD/RDN or CNS credential plus at least five years of hands-on experience coaching professionals through nutritional implementation, with demonstrated expertise in metabolic health, caloric and dietary restriction strategies, and macro-based meal planning. Experience with athletic populations, body composition assessment, sleep and stress coaching, and remote delivery are valued. A master's degree in nutrition is preferred but not required.

The salary range is $85,000–$130,000, with the target start date in Q1 2027. This role suits someone who combines rigorous scientific knowledge with genuine skill at removing barriers to behavior change—someone who sees nutrition not as a prescription to hand off, but as a collaborative process requiring trust, adaptation, and real understanding of how patients actually live.
