🌍 Your Purpose

As the Director of ITAD Operations, you’ll lead the people and operations that give technology its next best life. Our IT asset disposition (ITAD) facilities operate much like manufacturing environments, where production flow, labor planning, equipment, inventory, quality, and safety all contribute to performance. If you’ve led manufacturing operations and enjoy developing people while improving how work gets done, your experience could make a significant impact here.

Reporting to the Executive Vice President of ITAD, you’ll turn strategy into results across Dynamic’s primary and satellite facilities. You’ll develop leaders, strengthen operational consistency, and use data and technology to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

This is an opportunity to shape how our operations grow. From improving processes on the floor to building the capabilities needed across multiple locations, your leadership will help Dynamic process IT assets securely, efficiently, and profitably while advancing our mission.

💪 What You’ll Do

  • Lead operations across multiple facilities. Turn business priorities into clear operating plans, align leaders around shared goals, and drive consistent execution across primary and satellite locations.
  • Develop leaders who develop their teams. Coach, mentor, and empower your leaders to build team capability, own results, and prepare future leaders through training and succession planning.
  • Improve production flow and performance. Apply Lean manufacturing practices, Gemba walks, and root cause analysis to remove bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve productivity and quality.
  • Make performance visible and actionable. Build dashboards and scorecards that help teams understand results, recognize issues early, and take ownership of improvement.
  • Connect operational decisions to profitability. Manage labor, costs, and budgets while aligning production schedules and capacity with business demand and customer commitments.
  • Use technology to improve how work gets done. Partner across teams to strengthen ERP use, inventory management, and process automation as operations grow.
  • Protect our people and our customers’ trust. Hold high standards for safety, quality, environmental compliance, and data security while ensuring customer assets are handled securely, and service commitments are met.

🎓 What You Bring (Briefcase)

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field. Additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Eight or more years of progressive operations leadership experience, including significant experience managing teams and operational performance. Demonstrated success leading complex, high-volume processing, manufacturing, reverse logistics, refurbishment, or ITAD operations.
  • Experience leading operational teams across multiple facilities and developing leaders who deliver consistent results.
  • Demonstrated success improving operational performance through continuous improvement, financial discipline, and data-informed decisions.
  • Preferred: MBA
  • Preferred: Knowledge of IT asset disposition, secondary markets for IT equipment and components, and the processing requirements of servers, networking equipment, storage systems, and GPUs.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with R2, e-Stewards, NAID AAA, and ISO standards, along with ITAD data security and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, or the Toyota Production System.

🧠 Skills & Abilities (Head)

  • Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices, including Kaizen, 5S, Gemba walks, and root cause analysis.
  • Financial acumen connecting operational decisions to gross margin, operating expenses, and overall profitability.
  • Understanding of forecasting, labor and capacity planning, and Sales & Operations Planning.
  • Ability to use ERP systems, inventory management technology, production planning, and automation to improve operations.
  • Analytical skills to build actionable dashboards and scorecards that make performance visible in real time.
  • Clear communication, active listening, and project management skills that help teams align and execute.
  • Leadership skills in coaching, mentoring, training, delegation, and succession planning.

❤️ Who You Are (Heart)

You’re a leader who connects strategy with what happens on the floor. You set clear expectations, listen closely, and help people understand how their work contributes to the bigger picture. You’re comfortable digging into the data, asking thoughtful questions, and working alongside your teams to solve problems.

You hold high standards for results and how they’re achieved. You build accountability through trust, develop leaders who can own their decisions, and look for better ways to work without losing sight of safety, quality, or the customer. About this role

Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations is seeking an experienced operations leader to direct ITAD (IT asset disposition) facilities in a manufacturing-like environment where production flow, labor planning, equipment, and quality directly drive results. Reporting to the EVP of ITAD, you'll oversee multiple locations, turning strategic priorities into executable operating plans while building leadership capability across your team. The role demands someone comfortable with Lean practices, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to connect operational performance to profitability and customer satisfaction.

Your core responsibilities span leading teams across primary and satellite facilities, coaching leaders to develop their own teams, removing operational bottlenecks through continuous improvement, and ensuring safety, compliance, and data security standards are met. You'll manage budgets and labor planning, strengthen ERP and inventory systems, and make performance visible through dashboards and scorecards. This is operations leadership at scale—the kind of role that suits someone who has successfully managed complex, high-volume processing or manufacturing environments and enjoys both improving how work gets done and developing the people who do it.

The position requires at least eight years of progressive operations leadership with demonstrated success across multiple facilities. A bachelor's degree in operations, business, engineering, or supply chain is expected, though relevant experience can substitute. ITAD-specific knowledge—including familiarity with R2, e-Stewards, NAID AAA standards, and IT equipment processing—is preferred but not required. The salary range is $170,000 to $250,000 with quarterly incentives, comprehensive benefits, and 401(k) matching. The role is based in Onalaska, Wisconsin, and requires in-office work.
