About this role
Continental Services is hiring a Route Merchandiser to service vending machines, markets, and OCS delivery routes across the Van Buren area. You'll start early—between 4 and 6 AM, Monday through Friday—stocking shelves and coolers with beverages, snacks, and fresh items while maintaining accurate inventory records on a company tablet. The role involves regular physical work: loading and unloading products, lifting up to 50 pounds, and managing cash collection from machines and kiosks. You'll drive a company vehicle equipped with safety cameras and be responsible for ensuring proper product rotation, checking expiration dates, cleaning equipment, and reporting temperature issues or maintenance needs.
This position suits someone with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record who has prior experience in delivery, merchandising, or customer service. You'll need to be detail-oriented, comfortable following established protocols, and capable of working independently on a structured route. Proficiency with basic computer systems, GPS, and inventory software is expected, and experience operating a pallet jack is a plus. The company values results-oriented team members who can balance efficiency with customer service and adapt quickly to new information.
Continental offers $20 per hour plus quarterly bonuses, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) matching; paid time off; and wellness programs. Depending on regional needs, there may be opportunities to train new Route Merchandisers as you progress in the role.
