About this role
DataVolt's Company Secretary role centers on ensuring the organization meets all statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance obligations across its global operations. You'll serve as a bridge between the board of directors and regulatory authorities, advising leadership on applicable laws, maintaining compliance with Indian corporate standards, and representing the company before regulators. The position requires you to manage the full lifecycle of secretarial documentation—from annual returns and board resolutions to share certificates and statutory filings—while overseeing compliance across employment law, FEMA regulations, and other statutory requirements.
This is a role for someone with at least 5–7 years of post-qualification experience as a Company Secretary or in a legal team with direct secretarial responsibility. You'll need a bachelor's degree in law or commerce and a Company Secretary qualification; an LLB is valued but not required. Experience in KYC, AML, trade compliance, or corporate law strengthens your candidacy. The work is based in Mumbai and conducted in-office, handling the regulatory complexities specific to DataVolt's Indian entity while supporting its broader international footprint.
