About Cro Metrics
At Cro Metrics, we're on a mission to redefine growth for organizations and brands through unparalleled digital experiences that inspire action and deliver results. With transformative experimentation as our guide, we bridge bold ideas with practical solutions to create lasting impact.
We are a growth optimization agency that partners with mission-driven and high-growth companies to scale through data-driven experimentation. Our expertise spans A/B testing, personalization, paid media, lifecycle, AEO/SEO, and full-funnel digital strategy, empowering clients to make smarter decisions that drive measurable results.
Our fully remote team of strategists, analysts, engineers, and designers works across industries including eCommerce, fintech, nonprofit, and hospitality. We believe in autonomy, collaboration, and innovation as we help our clients grow smarter and faster.
About the Role
The Senior Web Analyst owns analytics for a set of Cro Metrics clients. That covers their measurement, their data infrastructure, and the attribution and ROI models behind their growth programs. You'll set each client's analytics roadmap and make sure the data behind every test, campaign, and recommendation holds up.
You'll work with strategists and subject matter experts across CRO, Lifecycle, and Paid Media. You'll present to clients' day-to-day contacts and executive sponsors. AI and our nearshore team handle repeatable work, so your time goes to hard problems, client conversations, and directing that work.
Clients trust our results and invest more when they trust their data. You'll spot risks and opportunities early and help account teams grow client relationships through analytics.
We're a small firm, and this is a hands-on role. You'll succeed here if you set your own priorities, make calls quickly, and explain complex findings in plain language.
You'll have real influence on how analytics grows at Cro Metrics. We're changing how agency work gets done with AI, and you'll help shape what that looks like for analytics.
What You'll Do
- Present analysis and recommendations to clients' day-to-day contacts and executive sponsors, and build their confidence in the findings
- Work with client teams to turn findings into action plans, including ROI models that reflect how they see their business
- Own and drive analytics roadmaps for your clients
- Build and visualize complex attribution models, or configure third-party tools to do it, then test and refine them for accuracy
- Design and implement complex integrations with JavaScript, or work with a data engineer to deliver them
- Resolve complex data parity issues, and lay out a clear path forward when there's no quick fix
- Find practical solutions to client analytics and infrastructure problems, including recommending the right platforms and tools
- Use SQL, Python, and R to join data sources and build advanced reporting and visualizations
- Flag risks and opportunities to account and delivery teams early, and share what you learn across accounts
- Build and present the analytics sections of quarterly client status reviews, and support sales and account teams on analytics opportunities
- Build AI tools, skills, and prompts that speed up analytics work, and share them so the team can reuse them
- Delegate work to teammates and nearshore contractors, and review it for quality
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of web or marketing analytics experience, ideally across multiple clients or at an agency
- Deep experience with attribution modeling, measurement, and data infrastructure, including event and conversion tracking and integrations with ad platforms, CRMs, and data warehouses
- Fluency in SQL and relational databases, plus Python and R, and comfort with JavaScript for tracking and integrations
- Hands-on, day-to-day use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) in your own work
You'll also bring:
- Experience presenting analysis to senior client stakeholders and turning it into a plan
- A track record of building ROI models that stakeholders understand and act on
- Experience supporting CRO/experimentation, lifecycle, or paid media programs
- Comfort delegating and directing work done by others
Nice to Have
- Experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, BigQuery, Looker Studio, or similar tools
- Experience with third-party attribution or marketing mix modeling tools
- Background supporting A/B testing and experimentation programs
- Experience helping scope or sell analytics services
Who You Are
- High ownership, high standards, low ego
- Able to explain complex data in plain language, with practical examples
- Proactive about raising risks and opportunities before anyone asks
- Earns client trust by being accurate and clear
- Curious about why the numbers look the way they do
- At home in a small firm where everyone, including leaders, does real work
- Open to new ways of working, rather than repeating a playbook from a past role

About this role
Cro Metrics is hiring a Senior Web Analyst to own analytics strategy and execution for a portfolio of clients across eCommerce, fintech, nonprofit, and hospitality. You'd be responsible for building and maintaining their measurement infrastructure, attribution models, and ROI frameworks—essentially ensuring the data behind every test, campaign, and recommendation is trustworthy enough that clients confidently invest more. This means designing integrations, resolving data issues, presenting findings to both day-to-day contacts and executive sponsors, and translating complex analysis into action plans that stakeholders actually understand and use.
The role sits at the intersection of technical depth and client leadership. You'll spend significant time on hard analytics problems—building attribution models, joining disparate data sources with SQL and Python, configuring platforms like GA4 and BigQuery—but also on client conversations, quarterly business reviews, and flagging risks early to account teams. AI and a nearshore team handle routine work, so your focus stays on judgment calls and strategic direction. You'll delegate and review work from others, and help shape how the agency integrates AI into analytics workflows.
This suits someone with 5+ years in web or marketing analytics (ideally agency or multi-client experience), strong technical chops in SQL, Python, R, and JavaScript, and genuine comfort using AI tools daily. You need the ability to explain data findings in plain language, a track record building ROI models that drive decisions, and experience supporting CRO, lifecycle, or paid media programs. The role is fully remote with occasional client travel, pays $110,000–$140,000, and requires US-based employment (excluding CA, AK, WA, OR, HI, NY, and NJ).
