About this role
Crestwood Behavioral Health is opening a new Crisis Residential Treatment campus in Perris in January 2027 and seeking an LVN or LPT to provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed staff. You'd work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, supporting clients in acute mental health crisis—a short-term alternative to psychiatric hospitalization. The role requires current California licensure, knowledge of nursing theory and practice, and supervisory capability; mental health nursing experience is preferred. You'll need current CPR and first aid certifications and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-based care model.
The position offers competitive hourly pay between $35 and $40.57, with final salary determined by your experience, licensure level, and the program's acuity. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; life insurance; 401(k); paid time off; a sick leave buyback option; onsite cafeteria and fitness center access; and education support including loan assistance and BBS supervision for associates. Crestwood, a 50-year-old B Certified organization, emphasizes employee growth and career development within California's behavioral health sector.
This is a ground-floor opportunity at a newly launching facility, which means you'd be part of establishing the program's culture and operations during staff training in December. If you're drawn to meaningful work in behavioral health and want to grow with an established organization committed to recovery-focused care, this role offers both stability and the chance to shape a new team from the start.
