About this role
Galaxy Digital is seeking a hands-on security engineer to protect its blockchain infrastructure and smart contract ecosystems. Based in India and working in-office, you'd conduct security reviews and audits of smart contracts built on Solidity/EVM and Rust/Solana platforms, assess protocol design risks, and guide teams through remediation of findings. The role spans the full security lifecycle—from threat modeling and code review to developing reusable security controls and researching emerging blockchain threats using modern tooling.
This contract position requires at least eight years of security engineering experience, with deep expertise in blockchain technologies and secure coding practices. You should be comfortable with static and dynamic analysis, software composition analysis, and fuzzing, plus familiarity with infrastructure security topics like key management, TLS/PKI, and cloud or container security. The ideal candidate combines technical depth in smart contract vulnerabilities with the ability to collaborate across Engineering, Product, Protocol, and Infrastructure teams and communicate findings clearly.
Galaxy values builders who move fast and think independently within a mission-driven culture. If you have published security research in Web3, direct experience with liquid staking or tokenized assets, or knowledge of DeFi protocol security and custody architectures, you'd be particularly well-positioned for this role.
