About this role

Galaxy Digital is looking for a blockchain security engineer to join its infrastructure team in India on a contract basis. You'd be responsible for identifying and mitigating security risks across on-chain systems—conducting code reviews and security audits of smart contracts (primarily Solidity/EVM and Rust/Solana), assessing blockchain-specific vulnerabilities, and working with engineering and product teams to design and implement secure solutions. The role blends hands-on technical work with advisory responsibilities, as you'd help teams understand findings and guide remediation efforts.

The position requires at least four years of security engineering or software development experience, with strong technical depth in blockchain and smart contract security. You should be comfortable with secure coding practices, code review, and security testing methodologies like static analysis and fuzzing. Familiarity with infrastructure security topics—key management, authentication, TLS/PKI, cloud and container security—is expected. Experience with DeFi protocols, liquid staking, tokenized assets, or published security research in the Web3 space would strengthen your candidacy.

Galaxy offers competitive base salary and discretionary bonus, company-paid health benefits, virtual coaching, and the chance to work on infrastructure at a rapidly growing digital assets company. This is an in-office role, so you'd be based in India working directly with teams across the organization.
