The successful candidate will combine project management fundamentals, Agile delivery practices, business process knowledge, and familiarity with enterprise systems to improve how projects and operational activities are planned, executed, tracked, and reported.
This role will work directly with GE Aerospace project leaders, technical teams, supply chain personnel, and business stakeholders to understand existing processes and translate operational requirements into practical workflows using Rally and other applicable project management tools.
The position requires an individual who can work independently, communicate effectively with customer stakeholders, and adapt project management practices to engineering, supply chain, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Project Management and Execution
•    Support project planning, prioritization, scheduling, and execution across multiple supply chain initiatives.
•    Apply Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid project management methodologies as appropriate.
•    Facilitate project meetings, backlog reviews, sprint planning, and progress tracking.
•    Establish consistent methods for tracking work assignments, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and action items.
•    Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve execution challenges.
Project Management Systems and Workflow Implementation
•    Support implementation, configuration, and adoption of Rally and related project management platforms.
•    Translate business requirements into practical project workflows, dashboards, templates, and reporting structures.
•    Leverage experience with Agile platforms such as Jira to establish effective work management practices.
•    Evaluate existing processes and recommend opportunities for standardization and improvement.
•    Support development of documentation, user guidance, and training materials.
Supply Chain and Business Process Support
•    Collaborate with GE Aerospace supply chain and engineering stakeholders to improve operational visibility and execution.
•    Support integration of project management activities with existing enterprise business processes.
•    Identify opportunities to improve cross-functional coordination, accountability, and operational efficiency.
•    Assist teams in applying structured project management practices to both traditional projects and ongoing operational activities.
Metrics, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement
•    Develop and maintain project dashboards, status reports, and execution metrics.
•    Track planned versus completed work, backlog progress, work-item aging, cycle time, and milestone performance.
•    Identify emerging risks, issues, and bottlenecks and support corrective action.
•    Prepare concise project updates for customer leadership and operational reviews.
•    Promote consistent practices and continuous improvement across participating teams.
Required Qualifications
•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
•    Experience in project management, Agile delivery, product ownership, or business process improvement.
