About This Role
A Day in the Life of an EHS Intern:
- Candidates will be provided the opportunity to develop EHS skills in a competitive manufacturing environment
- Acquire leadership skills and cross-functional process knowledge about the business
- Analyze environmental, health, and safety regulations/permits at the local, state, and federal levels that impact Lycoming’s operations and be given opportunities to execute projects that will assist in complying with these regulations
- Experience professional growth in a challenging environment and establish a network of peers and mentors within Lycoming Engines and across Textron.
Qualifications
What You'll Need:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an accredited occupational health & safety, industrial hygiene, environmental engineering, biology, chemistry or related science degree is required.
Ability to take direction
Leadership potential
Ability to work independently
An inquiring mind and passion for learning
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent communications/interpersonal skills
Preferred candidates will have experience in a manufacturing facility performing EHS related activities
