About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
Intern will assist with Continuous Improvement activities warehouse, logistics and expeditor departments.
Identify and improve organizational processes with the aim of increasing efficiency, productivity and safety
Maps out workflows, identifies opportunities to remove waste and low-value activities, and recommends solutions to solve simple and complex problems.
Analyze existing processes using Rapid Problem-Solving techniques and various methods such as gap analysis or PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) or Kaizen (Accelerated Improvements)
Contributes to the completion of specific technical tasks and/or milestones associated with specific projects
Provides clear improvement plans associated with specific projects.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field
Knowledge of statistical techniques and applications
Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks
Effective written and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills
Ability to obtain Security Clearance
