About this role
Atlas Air's Station Production Controller role manages the complex coordination of aircraft maintenance operations at the Miami station, where you'd oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and day-to-day production control for wide-body aircraft across a 24/7 operation. You'll work across multiple departments—Maintenance Control, Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Ground Services—to keep aircraft available and compliant while minimizing downtime. The position requires balancing competing priorities in real time: sequencing maintenance tasks around gate constraints, forecasting staffing needs, resolving resource gaps, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
This role demands 5–7 years of airline maintenance experience and an FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate, along with solid technical knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs, MEL/CDL procedures, and the ability to read engineering documentation. You'll need strong analytical and communication skills to lead daily meetings, prepare performance reports, and act as an operational advisor to station leadership. Proficiency with Microsoft software and digital manuals is essential, as is fluency in English and the ability to work any shift, including holidays.
The position suits someone with hands-on airline maintenance background who's ready to step into a supervisory, planning-focused role. The salary range is $94,000–$126,500. You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., hold a valid passport and driver's license, and be able to obtain a SIDA badge.
