About this role
Linda Werner & Associates is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to drive strategy around privacy, trust, and safety initiatives—a role that sits squarely at the intersection of product development, engineering, policy, and marketing. This is not primarily a go-to-market position; instead, you'd spend significant time partnering directly with Product and Engineering leadership to shape roadmap priorities, translate regulatory and customer needs into product recommendations, and influence development decisions without direct authority. Success here means identifying gaps and opportunities, building compelling business cases, and navigating competing priorities across technical and business stakeholders to drive meaningful product outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of product marketing experience with a demonstrated track record of directly influencing product direction—not just launching products. You should be comfortable translating complex technical, privacy, and regulatory concepts for multiple audiences, from engineers to executives. Experience in privacy-adjacent domains (trust and safety, responsible AI, data ethics, GDPR/CCPA), advertising technology, or B2B product marketing is valued. The role requires strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management without formal authority, and the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.
This is an 8-month contract position based in the US (PST preferred), working in-office full-time with standard benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off.
