About this role

You'll own the spectator experience at a specific LA28 Olympic and Paralympic venue, designing how thousands of people move through the space safely and enjoyably. This role requires you to create the Event Services operations plan for your venue—mapping crowd flows, entry and exit points, queues, staffing levels, and signage—then lead a large team of supervisors, team leaders, and volunteer hosts to execute it flawlessly. You'll also oversee temporary front-of-house infrastructure and coordinate closely with the wider organizing committee to ensure your venue plan integrates seamlessly with Games-wide operations.

This is a temporary, in-office position based in downtown Los Angeles, suited for someone with at least seven years of experience in international sports or large-venue operations and a proven track record leading teams. You'll need strong communication skills to brief staff and volunteers, solid Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to work in an open office environment while managing variable hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak periods. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in event and venue spectator services is required; negotiation skills, familiarity with Los Angeles, and knowledge of spectator management legislation are valued additions.

The salary range is $104,000–$124,000 annually. LA28 does not offer relocation assistance, so you must be able to work on-site in Los Angeles, though they welcome applications from candidates outside the area who can commit to this requirement.
