About this role
EquipmentShare's Kansas City rental facility is looking for a Parts Service Sales Representative to build and manage profitable customer relationships in the parts and service space. You'll be responsible for developing sales in your assigned territory, handling credit and collections, submitting proposals, and keeping accurate records in the company's CRM system. The role requires you to work closely with internal teams—GMs, Parts Managers, Service Managers—and external customers to understand their equipment needs, recommend spare parts solutions, and deliver regular forecasts. You'll also participate in training, promotional activities, and customer meetings as part of the broader sales effort.
This is a Monday-to-Friday, in-office position that suits someone with strong sales drive and self-motivation who can manage multiple priorities independently. A background in heavy equipment or technical work is valuable but not required; what matters more is your ability to inspect machinery (which involves physical work like climbing and bending), communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, and maintain integrity around confidential information. You'll need a valid driver's license with a clean record and solid computer skills to succeed here.
Note: This position is listed as volunteer work, which is unusual for a sales role. Clarify employment status and compensation details with EquipmentShare before applying, as the job description mentions "competitive compensation" and full benefits for full-time employees, but the listing itself specifies volunteer.
