Together, we look to deliver exceptional health care to more consumers, employers, care team members, and health networks to achieve better health outcomes. About this role
One Medical is seeking a per diem family medicine physician for its Kirkland location to work 16–24 hours per week seeing patients across acute, chronic, and preventive care. You'll work in-office with occasional telehealth visits, collaborate with on-site and virtual clinical teams through daily huddles, and have the opportunity to perform in-office procedures within your scope. The role offers flexibility typical of casual employment while being part of a primary care practice that emphasizes accessibility and quality care alongside Amazon's healthcare initiatives.
To qualify, you need an active Washington license, board certification (or board eligibility within the last year) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, and at least two years of recent outpatient primary care experience. One Medical looks for clinicians who are comfortable with technology, thrive in team settings, handle uncertainty well, and are genuinely committed to human-centered primary care across diverse patient populations.
The position pays $171 per hour and includes malpractice coverage, an UpToDate subscription, a company laptop, and sick time accrual. While per diem roles typically have limited benefits, those working 24+ hours per week become eligible for One Medical's full package—medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, CME stipends, paid sabbatical after five years, and other protections. This is a good fit if you want part-time clinical work with the stability of a well-resourced organization and the option to expand into full benefits if your hours increase.
