About this role
Holder Construction's MEP team at their Lithia Springs prefabrication facility is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of Mission Critical data center projects. You'll work on the technical side of complex builds, reviewing electrical drawings and specifications, coordinating across disciplines, and solving constructability challenges as designs move from concept through construction. The role requires you to apply NEC standards, evaluate electrical distribution systems, and collaborate with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure systems integrate properly.
This position suits someone with 2–5+ years of engineering experience, ideally in data center or Mission Critical environments. You'll need strong fundamentals in electrical systems—transformers, switchgear, conduit routing, grounding—and the ability to read and interpret construction documents independently. Beyond technical skills, the role demands clear communication, professional judgment in difficult conversations, and a detail-oriented approach to managing competing priorities and deadlines.
Holder Construction offers a structured career path based on merit, competitive compensation with an annual bonus, comprehensive health and retirement benefits, and paid time off. This is a full-time, in-office role in Georgia.
