About this role
Astrolab is building the internship program for a lunar operations company from the ground up, and this role owns that mission end-to-end. You would develop recruiting strategies, partner with engineering and business leaders to identify intern needs, manage relationships with universities and student organizations, and handle everything from hiring and onboarding through final presentations and offboarding. The position also requires tracking program metrics, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and continuously refining the experience based on what you learn.
This is a program management role that demands at least three years in internship programs, university recruiting, or talent acquisition, plus demonstrated experience building or scaling early career initiatives. A background in technical recruiting—particularly in engineering, aerospace, or robotics—is preferred, as is familiarity with OFCCP and employment law. You'll report to the Manager of Technical Recruiting and collaborate across multiple departments to create a cohesive intern experience.
The role is full-time and in-office in Hawthorne, Nova Scotia, with a salary range of $110,000 to $145,000. Benefits include equity ownership, comprehensive health coverage, 401(k) matching, flexible PTO, parental leave, home office reimbursement, and on-site perks like weekly lunch and monthly social hours.
