About this role

KCRA 3 is building a new content venture focused on California storytelling, and they're looking for an experienced on-camera presence to anchor a daily program while developing stories across TV, digital, streaming and social platforms. You'd be based in Sacramento, reporting to the Assistant News Director, and splitting your time between delivering scripted and ad-lib material on air and pitching and reporting original stories that resonate with audiences. The role demands someone who can write tight scripts, conduct compelling interviews, and experiment with different formats—from short-form social content to longer narrative pieces—all while meeting tight production deadlines.
