About this role
Hello Heart is building AI technology to predict and prevent heart attacks before they occur—a mission-driven platform already deployed across 80% of large U.S. health plans with proven clinical and financial impact. As Senior Director of Investor Relations, you'll report to the CFO and own the external investment narrative for a company executing at scale and preparing for significant growth. Your core mandate is to shape how the market understands Hello Heart's strategy and momentum, build relationships across institutional investors and capital markets, and support near-term Series E fundraising and longer-term IPO readiness.
The role demands someone with deep capital markets experience—whether from buy-side investing, equity research, portfolio management, or investor relations—who can translate complex healthcare AI metrics into compelling investment stories. You'll partner closely with the CEO and CFO on investor targeting and fundraising execution, prepare leadership for investor discussions, develop board and investor communications, and bring market intelligence back into the business. This is hands-on work: financial analysis, presentation development, relationship management, and travel to conferences and investor meetings are all part of the job.
Success here requires strong financial acumen, credibility with senior executives and institutional investors, and the ability to move fluidly between detailed analysis and high-level narrative. Healthcare or technology investment experience is valuable, as is an MBA or CFA. The role offers a $235,000–$255,000 base salary and the opportunity to shape investor perception of a company at an inflection point.
