- Provide generalist support for Global Ops Infrastructure and VSM for all areas of Human Resources
- Assist in administering procedures and policies
- Participate in Exit interviews and Performance Management cycles
- Provide training support and resources to Associates
- Ensure Open Door, diversity and other values related issues are resolved
- Collaborate with the HR Director and HRBP team to conduct interventions, fact-findings and resolve conflicts as they arise
- Provide coaching, promote discussions and make recommendations for non-exempt associates' and Supervisors' development needs
- Participate in special projects as assigned

You have...
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources within food manufacturing/production, CPG, e-Commerce or a high growth/startup company
- Knowledge of recruitment strategies and techniques, employment agency methods and operations, developed skill in interviewing techniques
- Working knowledge of employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws; must understand confidentiality
- Solid coaching and counseling skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience with SHRM / PHR

About this role
HelloFresh's Newark operations need an HR generalist to build and sustain a strong workplace culture for hourly field employees across their distribution network. In this role, you'll own people-focused initiatives spanning recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and career development while handling the full spectrum of HR administration—from policy implementation and exit interviews to performance management cycles and conflict resolution. You'll work closely with the HR Director and business partners to coach supervisors and associates, facilitate training, and ensure the company's values around open communication and diversity are embedded in daily operations. The position requires comfort in a distribution center environment, with an expectation of three days per week on-site.
This is a fit for someone with at least three years of HR experience in food manufacturing, CPG, e-commerce, or a fast-growing company who understands recruitment, employee relations, and employment law. You should be a self-motivated learner with strong presentation and coaching skills, comfortable navigating sensitive conversations and confidential matters. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus SHRM or PHR certification is expected.
