About this role

You'd be managing celebrity talent strategy and logistics for two major consumer brands simultaneously. The role centers on building and leveraging relationships across the entertainment industry—publicists, studios, record labels, networks, sports agencies—to secure high-profile bookings for Cosmopolitan and Seventeen's editorial, video, and social content. You'll negotiate deals, oversee productions from initial outreach through execution, and handle the behind-the-scenes capture at events like red carpets and premieres, while coordinating across editorial, social, video, and PR teams to maximize impact.

This position suits someone with five to seven years in talent booking or entertainment media who has already built a substantial industry network and proven they can close deals with A-list representatives. You need strong negotiation skills, editorial judgment to spot emerging talent and cultural moments, and the organizational rigor to juggle multiple productions and competing deadlines. The role demands discretion, professionalism under pressure, and genuine enthusiasm for the Cosmopolitan and Seventeen audiences specifically.

The hybrid setup is based in New York with four days in-office weekly. Compensation ranges from $84,660 to $100,000, with standard benefits including health coverage from day one, 401(k) matching, and access to professional development. The position is covered under the WGA East collective bargaining agreement.
