About this role

Healing Haven's occupational therapy role centers on serving children with autism across their four specialized clinics in Madison Heights, working with kids from age two through young adulthood. You'd conduct assessments, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy focused on sensory processing, self-regulation, feeding skills, and functional independence. A key part of the work involves facilitating parent training and collaborating with speech, ABA, and leadership teams to ensure consistent, coordinated care—the clinic explicitly incorporates families into treatment rather than treating children in isolation.

The position values clinical quality over productivity metrics, giving you dedicated time for collaboration, documentation, and individualized care rather than pushing high caseload volume. You'll have opportunities to help develop OT programming in areas like sensory integration, feeding therapy, and reflex integration. The role requires a Master's in OT and an unrestricted Michigan license; autism knowledge and behavior analysis experience are preferred but not required, as is prior supervisory experience.

Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $99,800 annually with bonus incentives, backed by solid benefits including medical, dental, vision, employer-paid life insurance, 401(k) matching, and generous PTO within a structured schedule. The clinic emphasizes scheduling flexibility where possible and invests in your continuing education to maintain certification and grow your expertise.
