Description
Who This Role Is For
You're a licensed associate therapist (LMHCA or LCSWA) in North Carolina who's already accruing post-graduate clinical hours toward full licensure and wants a part-time remote caseload that matters. You want free supervision, a schedule that fits your life, and none of the administrative burden that slows most early-career clinicians down. Daybreak was built for exactly this stage of your career.
What Makes This Different
- Free supervision — weekly 1:1 and group supervision, fully covered
- Guaranteed pay for late cancellations and no-shows
- $35/hr individual sessions (12+) | $45/hr family therapy
- Part-time W2 position — real employment benefits, not contractor instability
- Fully remote — work from anywhere in North Carolina
- Mon–Fri 3–8 PM schedule — predictable, school-aligned hours
- No billing, no credentialing, no admin — we handle everything
- 90% of students say we matched them to the right clinician
The Work
You'll provide evidence-based teletherapy to K–12 students across North Carolina, collaborating with school counselors and families statewide. You'll participate in weekly individual and group supervision, case consultations, and contribute to clinical program development.
What You Need
- Active LMHCA or LCSWA license in North Carolina (required — we are not able to hire other license types at this time)
- Post-graduate clinical hours already accrued toward full licensure (required — this role is best suited for associates who are actively logging supervised hours, not candidates just beginning their post-graduate track)
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged youth and families
- Comfortable with telehealth and EHR systems
- Available Mon–Fri 3–8 PM
Preferred
- Experience in CBT, DBT, or similar modalities
- Prior school-based or youth-focused experience
- Bilingual Spanish/English fluency
- Active NPI and CAQH
About this role
Daybreak Health is hiring a part-time remote teletherapist to work with K–12 students across North Carolina. You'll carry your own caseload of individual and family sessions at $35–$45 per hour, depending on session type, while the organization handles all billing, credentialing, and administrative work. The schedule is fixed at Monday through Friday, 3–8 PM, which aligns with school hours and student availability.
This role is designed specifically for licensed associates (LMHCA or LCSWA) who are already accruing post-graduate clinical hours toward full licensure. You'll receive weekly individual and group supervision at no cost, participate in case consultations, and contribute to clinical program development—all structured support that typically costs early-career clinicians money elsewhere. You're guaranteed pay for cancellations and no-shows, and you'll work as a W2 employee with real employment benefits rather than as a contractor.
The fit works best if you have experience or genuine interest in school-aged youth and families, comfort with telehealth and EHR systems, and ideally some background in evidence-based modalities like CBT or DBT. Prior school-based experience and Spanish fluency are preferred but not required. You must be available during the stated hours and hold an active North Carolina license; the organization is not hiring other license types at this time.
