About this role
Daybreak Health is building a teletherapy practice specifically for early-career clinicians, and this role removes the administrative friction that typically weighs down APCs in their first years. You'd carry a remote caseload of K–12 students across Georgia school districts, provide evidence-based treatment via telehealth, and collaborate with school counselors and families—all while Daybreak handles billing, credentialing, and the backend work. Supervision hours come free when you meet caseload requirements, and you're guaranteed pay for cancellations and no-shows, which means genuine income stability.
The flexibility here is real: you choose from afternoon, evening, and weekend slots, work entirely remotely from anywhere in Georgia, and earn $35–45 per hour depending on session type. The role expects you to be comfortable with telehealth platforms and EHR systems, and to have a genuine interest in school-aged youth and families. Experience with CBT, DBT, or similar modalities and prior school-based work are preferred but not required.
You'll need an active APC license in Georgia—this is non-negotiable—plus an active NPI and CAQH profile. If you're an APC looking to build clinical hours without drowning in administrative overhead, and you're drawn to school-based work, this is worth a close look.
