Delivery Workflow Engineer

Location: Mclean, VA OR Richmond, VA | Work Environment: Hybrid

We’re looking for a Delivery Workflow Engineer to support the AI-enabled platform that powers how our researchers produce due diligence and risk reports. You’ll take agentic solutions we’ve already proven in production, unify and productize them into one enterprise application, and replace manual steps with automation, all while keeping every output human-vetted and defensible. You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering and business operations, and work closely with our subject matter experts. This is a unique opportunity to help shape how a global risk firm modernizes its delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the continued development and enhancement of Exiger’s existing agentic platform, expanding dedicated application capabilities across report and product types to improve consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency
  • Support ongoing enhancement of Exiger’s research and report-drafting automation capabilities, while strengthening quality control and fact-checking workflows to ensure consistent, accurate, and regulator-defensible outputs
  • Partner with team leads and regional subject matter experts to turn client scopes, report requirements, and case handoffs into workflow logic and a clear minimum viable product
  • Support the researchers who use the platform through training, testing, feedback, and reliable day-to-day operation across North America and Romania teams
  • Integrate new data sources and lay the groundwork for future client-facing, modular report delivery

What You Need

  • 4-5 years of experience designing, building, and launching enterprise software applications or automated workflows used by teams
  • Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM and agentic AI solutions in production
  • Strong software engineering skills, with the ability to build, test, and own production-grade applications end to end
  • A product mindset: you can translate business needs into scoped requirements, make smart minimum-viable-product trade-offs, and sweat the details where accuracy matters
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with non-technical subject matter experts and operations leaders in a fast-moving, self-directed environment
  • Experience in open-source intelligence (OSINT), background investigations, enhanced due diligence, or compliance and third-party risk is a strong plus

We’re an amazing place to work. Why?

  • Discretionary Time Off for all employees, with no maximum limits on time off
  • Industry leading health, vision, and dental benefits
  • Competitive compensation package
  • 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave
  • Flexible, hybrid approach to working from home and in the office where applicable
  • Focus on wellness and employee health through stipends and dedicated wellness programming
  • Purposeful career development programs with reimbursement provided for educational certifications

Artificial intelligence tools may be used to support candidate screening and evaluation.

About this role

Exiger is seeking a Delivery Workflow Engineer to help modernize how its AI platform produces due diligence and risk reports for Fortune 500 and government clients. You'll take agentic solutions already running in production, unify them into a cohesive enterprise application, and systematically replace manual research and drafting steps with automation—while maintaining the human oversight and regulatory defensibility that the work demands. This role sits between engineering and business operations, requiring you to partner with subject matter experts, researchers, and regional teams to translate client requirements into workflow logic and minimum viable products.

You'll need 4–5 years building and shipping enterprise software or automated workflows, with hands-on production experience in LLM and agentic AI systems. Strong software engineering fundamentals are essential: you should be comfortable owning applications end to end, from design through testing and operation. Equally important is a product mindset—the ability to scope requirements, make disciplined trade-offs, and obsess over accuracy where it matters. You'll communicate regularly with non-technical stakeholders and work in a self-directed, fast-moving environment supporting teams across North America and Romania.

Background in OSINT, due diligence, compliance, or third-party risk management is a plus but not required. Exiger offers competitive compensation, unlimited discretionary time off, strong health benefits, 16 weeks paid parental leave, and professional development support. The role is hybrid, based in McLean or Richmond, Virginia.
