About this role

Clutch Technologies, Canada's largest online used car retailer, is hiring a part-time licensed automotive technician to work weekends at their Mississauga facility. You'd be responsible for performing vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure every car meets Clutch's mechanical and safety standards before delivery to customers. The role involves both stationary and road testing, Ontario Provincial Safety Inspections, documentation, and collaboration with the reconditioning team to keep vehicles moving through the pipeline efficiently.

This position requires a 310S Red Seal certification or equivalent, hands-on experience across domestic, import, and European vehicles, and comfort with shop systems like Google Drive and Slack. You'll need to balance thoroughness in inspections with quick turnaround times, work independently and as part of a team, and be willing to learn new procedures as the company scales. The schedule is fixed: every Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

The role offers $34–$39 per hour depending on your skills and experience, with the opportunity to shape quality standards at a rapidly growing company backed by major investors. If you're a detail-oriented technician who wants autonomy in your work and direct influence over vehicle readiness at a high-volume operation, this could be a good fit—especially if weekend availability works for you.
