About this role

Cloud9 is hiring a part-time Wellness Advisor in Springfield to work in-office at their cannabis dispensary. You'd guide customers through product selection—whether they're recreational users, medicinal patients, or caregivers—using consultative skills and product knowledge to match them with the right cannabis products. The role spans the full customer journey: ID verification, consultation, order fulfillment, checkout, and inventory management, all within strict state compliance requirements.

This position suits someone with at least one year of customer service experience (retail or hospitality backgrounds are valued) who is genuinely interested in cannabis education and industry standards. You'll need strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail for compliance and cash handling, and the ability to learn technical product information quickly. The work is hands-on and varied—you'll be on your feet, handling inventory counts, maintaining displays, and solving problems as they arise.

You must be 21 or older and legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. The pay is $16–$16.50 per hour. Cloud9 emphasizes training and development, positioning this as an entry point into the cannabis industry if you're drawn to the work and the company's mission to professionalize the space.
