About this role

The City of Fort Worth's Property Management Department is hiring a Management Analyst I to support its Fleet Division with a mix of financial analysis, budget work, and fleet operations. You'd handle fuel inventory reconciliation, process vehicle system updates, manage toll tag billing, and contribute to annual budget development and forecasting. The role also involves preparing financial reports, identifying budget overruns, and conducting benchmark analysis—work that requires strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both executives and the public.

This is an entry-level analytical position requiring a bachelor's degree in public administration, finance, business administration, or a related field, with no prior experience necessary. The ideal candidate would bring familiarity with municipal budgeting, ERP systems like PeopleSoft Financials, fleet management software, and budget tools like Euna Budget Pro, though these are preferred rather than required. You'll work standard office hours Monday through Friday with occasional evening and weekend work.
