About FIRY
We build companies that help people create, compete, and grow.
FIRY (NYSE: FIRY) is a founder-led global holding company built to fuel business potential. Founded in 2012 by entrepreneur Andrew Paradise, FIRY began by inventing an entirely new category: real-money skill-based mobile gaming. What started as a single bold idea became Skillz, a platform with more than 90 million registered users and one of the largest sources of first-party behavioral data in gaming.
Today, FIRY is building something much bigger.
We’re creating a portfolio of category-defining businesses operating at the intersection of AI, identity, gaming, commerce, and performance marketing. Each business is successful on its own. Together, they create a flywheel of technology, data, and distribution that’s difficult to replicate.
- Skillz: The competition platform that pioneered real-money skill-based gaming and continues to power millions of competitive experiences while generating unique behavioral insights.
- RZR: Our AI-native performance advertising platform, rebuilt from first principles and profitable for three consecutive quarters, helping brands acquire customers more intelligently.
- Beamable: The infrastructure powering the next generation of live games, giving developers everything they need to build, operate, and scale online experiences.
FIRY is publicly traded on the NYSE and headquartered in Las Vegas, with hubs in San Francisco, New York City, and Bengaluru.
We’re still early.
We’re looking for builders who want to create products that define industries—not simply compete in them.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the valuation, diligence and investment case models behind our M&A, investment and capital decisions

- Prepare long-range plan content and deal model outputs for senior leadership and Board materials
- Take on ad hoc strategic analysis, such as property decisions, product profitability and portfolio returns across business units
Key Competencies
- Builds models end to end, from assumptions and mechanics to sensitivities, and knows what the results mean
- Pressure-tests their own work and presents the downside case alongside the upside
- Quickly gets up to speed on a new business or business unit and translates FIRY’s strategy into financial drivers
- Comfortable running a recurring close and reporting cycle with Accounting, not just project work

- Welcomes direct feedback and gives it constructively, with specific examples
- Fluent in data and process automation, including SQL
- Speaks up plainly when the numbers don’t support a deal or a plan

Why FIRY
- You are at the center of everything. Corporate roles at FIRY do not support one business. They support the infrastructure, strategy, and execution that makes three independent businesses work and compounds as they grow together.
- Founder-led. Andrew Paradise founded Skillz in 2012 with a single conviction: that fair, real-money skill-based competition should exist at scale. Thirteen years later, he has taken the company public on the NYSE, built a portfolio of three independent businesses, earned 90+ patents, and won the largest false advertising verdict in U.S. history. He is still here, still the founder, still the CEO, still building. That kind of long-term commitment is rare. At FIRY, it defines the culture from the top down.
- A portfolio at the beginning of its compounding phase. Four consecutive quarters of sequential revenue growth. Q1 2026 revenue up 33% year-over-year. RZR at 120%+ year-over-year growth in Q1 2026 and profitable for three consecutive quarters. The flywheel is turning.
- A mission worth the work. FIRY's mission is to fuel business potential. The systems FIRY builds help developers build businesses, advertisers acquire the right users, and infrastructure that turns competitive play into a scalable commercial engine. The addressable market across performance marketing, gaming infrastructure, and skill-based competition is $45B+.
- Comprehensive Benefits. 100% coverage for medical, dental, and vision for you and your dependents. 401K matching, equity incentives, pre-tax benefit options, and more.
- Wellness Support. Meditation and mental health resources, physical fitness coaching and classes, family planning assistance, virtual therapy sessions, and more.
- Time Off. Competitive PTO and company holidays.
- Las Vegas Headquarters. FIRY operates in a five-day-a-week, collaborative office environment at our 36,000+ square foot Las Vegas headquarters. Free daily lunch, snacks, a full-size gym with showers, commuter benefits, team events, and more.

About this role
FIRY's Strategic Finance Manager role sits at the intersection of three growing businesses—Skillz, RZR, and Beamable—where you'd own the financial modeling and strategic analysis that drive M&A, capital allocation, and long-range planning decisions. This isn't a support function; you'd be building the valuation models, investment cases, and diligence work that shape what the company actually does next, then tracking those bets against reality. You'd also partner on the recurring FP&A cycle and close, meaning you need comfort with both one-off strategic projects and the discipline of monthly reporting.
The role demands someone who builds models end to end and knows what the outputs mean, not just someone who can run formulas. You'll pressure-test your own work, present downside cases alongside upside, and speak plainly when the numbers don't support a deal. SQL fluency is required—you'll pull data from Snowflake—and you need at least five years in corporate FP&A, strategic finance, corporate development, or investment banking, with at least two of those in a recurring planning cycle. A background in gaming, casino, or consumer tech is strongly preferred.
This is a full-time, in-office role in Las Vegas with less than 10% travel. The base plus bonus totals $152,000. FIRY offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and dependents, 401K matching, equity, wellness resources, competitive PTO, and a full-service headquarters with gym, free lunch, and commuter benefits.
