About this role
At a pre-IPO growth-stage tech company, this Senior Accountant role centers on owning critical pieces of the monthly close—specifically COGS, cost allocations, and accruals—while working within a finance team focused on supporting data-driven business decisions. You'll handle income statement recognition under US GAAP, manage intercompany entries across multiple entities, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and prepare the analysis and journal entries that keep month-end moving smoothly. The work involves close collaboration with FP&A and other departments to ensure transactions are properly booked and controls are effective.
This position suits someone with 3–5+ years of accounting experience, ideally from a SaaS or tech background, who is comfortable operating independently during compressed close timelines. You'll need strong Excel skills, hands-on familiarity with NetSuite and close management tools like FloQast, and solid grounding in multi-entity and intercompany accounting. Big 4 or public accounting experience is preferred. Beyond technical competency, the role values self-starters who can communicate clearly with stakeholders and spot opportunities to automate and improve processes.
