The role of the Manager of Supplier Performance is increasing to include the Supply Chains of all of the FLMC-Americas Manufacturing Sites (Aiken, Actuator, Brantford, Elk River, Lexington, Louisville, Mexicali, Saltillo, Sandusky). To successfully understand, analyze and implement the established best practices more Supplier Performance Specialists will be required.
About this role
Emerson Electric is expanding its supplier performance function across nine manufacturing sites in the Americas and seeking a Supply Analyst in Mexicali to support this growth. You would analyze supplier metrics including on-time delivery, quality, and inventory levels while working directly with suppliers to resolve operational issues—from delivery problems and invoice discrepancies to new supplier onboarding and order placement. The role requires balancing multiple priorities and driving issues to resolution with minimal supervision.
This position suits someone with a college degree and at least five years of supply chain or procurement experience who is comfortable with problem-solving and data analysis in MS Office. Bilingual capability in English and Spanish is important for this Mexico-based role. An APICS/CPIM certification is preferred. You'll need strong communication skills to coordinate across suppliers and internal teams, and the ability to manage competing demands while staying focused on what matters most. There is no travel required.
