About this role

Colovore is rapidly expanding its network of ultra-high-density, liquid-cooled data centers for AI deployment, and this contract role supports that growth from the ground up. As a Project Engineer reporting to a Project Manager, you'll coordinate construction delivery across the full project lifecycle—from pre-construction planning through commissioning and turnover. Your day-to-day work involves tracking schedules against physical reality, managing contractor coordination, maintaining project documentation, conducting compliance audits, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met on site.

This role suits someone with 2–5 years of construction or mission-critical project support experience who understands MEP systems, can read technical drawings, and is comfortable with tools like Procore or Bluebeam. You'll need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across internal teams and external stakeholders. A background in data centers or critical facilities is preferred but not required; what matters more is your willingness to learn and grow into project management.

Success here means keeping documentation accurate and current, identifying risks early, and earning trust as a reliable, proactive team member. The role is remote but requires willingness to travel to project sites as needed. Colovore offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health benefits, unlimited PTO, and professional development support as part of a collaborative culture backed by significant recent funding and real estate expertise.
