About this role
Astranis is hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer Associate for a twelve-week winter internship based in San Francisco. You'd work directly on quality assurance for the company's satellite supply chain, conducting failure analyses and root cause investigations, designing quality specifications, and developing inspection and testing protocols. The role also involves monitoring supplier performance, supporting manufacturing process improvements at supplier sites, and keeping management informed on purchased parts status.
The position suits someone with a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain management, or a related field who has strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. You'll need solid communication and organizational skills to juggle multiple projects at once.
