About this role
Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to deliver direct patient care in home settings across Camden and Gloucester Counties. You'll conduct evaluations, develop and adjust treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions for patients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties—working alongside them from hospital discharge through their transition to independent living at home. The role includes educating patients and families on rehabilitative care and coordinating with the broader care team to support each person's safety, comfort, and dignity.
You'll need a current SLP license and a minimum of one year of recent clinical experience. BAYADA accepts candidates with ASHA certification, those working toward it with equivalent education and supervised experience, or those awaiting the certification exam. Home healthcare experience is valued but not required; what matters most is your ability to travel to assigned territories, listen actively, assess thoroughly, and deliver care with genuine compassion and reliability.
The position offers daytime scheduling flexibility, one-on-one training with virtual learning support, 24/7 clinical backup, and access to tuition reimbursement for continued education. Compensation ranges from $60 to $68 per hour based on qualifications and experience. This is a good fit if you're drawn to patient-centered care in the home setting and want meaningful clinical work with built-in support and work-life balance.
