About the team
Revenue Operations is a small team with outsized reach. Deal Desk is the part of RevOps closest to the deal: we help reps structure pricing, build quotes, and move contracts through approval so they can close faster without giving away margin. As Alloy sells into more banks, credit unions, fintechs, and channel partners, more deals come through the desk every quarter, and they're getting more varied. This role reports to the Senior Revenue Operations Manager, Deal Desk, and will be the second person on the desk.
Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite three days a week.
What you'll be doing
You'll be the first stop for reps working through the mechanics of a deal: building and checking quotes, keeping the approval queue moving, and making sure what gets signed is what gets booked and billed. It's a high-volume, detail-heavy seat with a front-row view of how Alloy prices, packages, and contracts, and a lot of room to make the process better as you learn it.
- Build and review quotes from Salesforce CPQ all the way through the Ironclad workflow process, checking that products, pricing, terms, and opportunity setup (new business, renewal, amendment, upsell, channel) are correct before they move forward.
- Work the twice-daily Ironclad approval queue alongside Legal and Accounting, reviewing order forms against our standard terms and Deal Desk Levers and flagging anything non-standard.
- Support the triage of incoming requests in Deal Desk, Ironclad, and the Rev Ops Help queues, confirm each one has the context needed for review, and route it to the right person.
- Manage first-pass pricing using our pricing calculator and guidelines, so senior Deal Desk time goes to large and novel deals.
- Partner with our Systems and Salesforce admins to improve CPQ and quoting workflows: flag where reps get stuck, document requirements for fixes and enhancements, test changes before they go live, and update guides once they ship.
- Review closed-won contracts for booking accuracy (ACV, CARR, term, billing frequency, uplifts) and keep the bookings tracker current.
- Pull weekly reporting on deals in flight, request volume, turnaround time, and discount and approval trends.
- Help maintain CPQ, Ironclad, and Deal Desk process, and turn repeat questions into documentation (CPQ Handbook)
Who we’re looking for
Must-haves:
- 1-3 years in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Order Management, or a similar analytical role supporting a sales team.
- Hands on Salesforce experience with opportunities, quotes, and reports.
- Salesforce CPQ (or similar) experience.
- Interest in automating manual deal desk work.
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.
- Sharp attention to detail, with a habit of catching the wrong date or mismatched number before it reaches a customer.
- Comfort working a queue: many requests at once, prioritized by deadline, with people kept informed along the way.
- Clear, direct written communication, including explaining a policy to a rep or saying "not yet" without creating friction.
- Curiosity about how deals work, from pricing and contract terms to how they flow into bookings and billing.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with Ironclad or another contract lifecycle management tool.
- Experience gathering requirements or testing changes for a CRM or quoting tool.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or financial services.
- Familiarity with SaaS metrics and deal terms such as ARR, CARR, usage-based pricing, ramps, and multi-year uplifts.
- Exposure to order forms, billing, or revenue recognition basics (ASC 606).
- Familiarity with SQL.

About this role
Alloy's Deal Desk is the operational hub where sales reps structure deals, build quotes, and move contracts through approval—and they're looking for a second analyst to handle the growing volume and complexity as the company scales across banks, fintechs, and channel partners. You'd own the day-to-day mechanics: building and reviewing quotes in Salesforce CPQ, working through the twice-daily Ironclad approval queue with Legal and Accounting, triaging incoming requests, and catching errors before they reach customers. It's detail-heavy and high-volume, but it comes with visibility into how Alloy prices, packages, and books deals, plus real room to improve the process as you learn it.
The role calls for 1–3 years in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or a similar analytical function supporting sales, with hands-on Salesforce and CPQ experience. You'll need sharp attention to detail, strong Excel skills, comfort managing multiple prioritized requests at once, and the ability to communicate clearly with reps and cross-functional teams. Experience with Ironclad, B2B SaaS, or fintech is a bonus; so is familiarity with SaaS metrics and revenue recognition basics.
This is a contract position based in New York City (hybrid, three days onsite) with a salary range of $80,000–$100,000, plus equity, benefits including 401k matching and parental leave, and professional development support.
