About this role
Compass Health Network is seeking an Emergency Room Enhancement Supervisor to lead a team bridging hospital emergency care and community-based behavioral health support. You'd oversee Community Support Specialists who conduct timely outreach to individuals following emergency department visits, coordinate continuity of care with hospital and community partners, and help ensure people connect with the ongoing services they need. The role combines clinical direction, team supervision, and operational management—reviewing referrals and service delivery, coaching staff through individual supervision, managing scheduling and performance, and participating in hiring and continuous improvement efforts.
This position suits someone with a background in behavioral health, mental health, or human services who has both supervisory experience and clinical credibility. You'll need at least a high school diploma, though a degree in a human services field is preferred; you must also meet Community Support Specialist qualifications, which include either a relevant degree, a clinical license (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT), or equivalent work experience serving people with mental illness, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities. A valid driver's license is required. The hybrid role is based in E 10th Street and runs Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at a salary of $35,000 to $38,000 annually.
You'd thrive here if you bring a strengths-based, collaborative approach to both staff development and cross-sector partnerships, can balance clinical judgment with operational leadership, and are genuinely committed to expanding access to behavioral health and helping people move from crisis toward stability and community connection.
