About this role

Working as a Beach Attendant at The Ritz-Carlton in Sunny Isles Beach means creating and maintaining a welcoming, safe recreational environment for luxury resort guests. You'll be the visible presence on the beach and in recreation areas—greeting guests, providing information about available activities and equipment, managing towel service, and monitoring the space to ensure everyone's safety and comfort. The role requires you to stay alert to potential hazards, enforce facility rules, and be prepared to respond to emergencies until medical personnel arrive.

Beyond guest interaction, you'll handle operational tasks like inventory management, equipment inspection, and supply tracking. The position demands physical capability—you'll be moving frequently over sand and uneven surfaces, lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds, and reaching overhead and below knee level throughout your shift. You'll also work with point-of-sale systems to log information and maintain records.

The job requires current CPR and First Aid certifications plus any additional certifications mandated by Florida state or local regulations. A high school diploma is preferred but not required, and no prior beach or recreation experience is necessary. This is a full-time, in-office role suited to someone who thrives in an outdoor, active environment and genuinely enjoys helping guests enjoy their time.
