About this role
Innovetive Petcare's Animal Emergency & Specialty Center in Chattanooga is hiring a Weekend Overnight Veterinary CSR to staff their emergency hospital during the hours when pet owners need them most. You'd be the first point of contact for clients arriving with sick or injured animals during overnight emergencies, balancing client communication, financial coordination, patient intake, and administrative support across three 12-hour Friday-to-Sunday shifts. The role demands someone who can remain composed and compassionate while juggling incoming calls, processing payments, explaining treatment estimates, managing electronic medical records, and collaborating with veterinarians and technicians in a genuinely high-pressure environment.
This position suits people with prior veterinary reception or animal hospital experience who thrive working nights and genuinely connect with stressed pet owners during their worst moments. You'll need strong multitasking skills, comfort discussing finances and payment options, basic veterinary knowledge, and the reliability to commit to a consistent weekend overnight schedule. Familiarity with veterinary practice management software is valued but not required.
The hospital offers paid time off, health and dental coverage, vision insurance, a 401(k) match, employee discounts, and professional development opportunities. This is a full-time in-office role for someone who's genuinely a night person and finds meaning in supporting animals and their families during emergencies.
