About this role
At The Ritz-Carlton's Herzliya property, this Events Manager role sits at the center of the guest experience, managing mid-complexity events from initial sales handoff through post-event follow-up. You'll own the full lifecycle of your assigned groups—coordinating logistics with sales, operations, and customers; ensuring billing accuracy; managing room blocks and meeting spaces; and troubleshooting operational challenges as they arise. The position demands someone who can hold multiple stakeholders accountable while staying present and responsive to guest needs throughout the event.
The work blends operational precision with relationship management and revenue thinking. You'll conduct pre- and post-event meetings with your teams, identify upsell opportunities, forecast sleeping room and catering revenue, and actively solicit feedback from both departments and guests to drive continuous improvement. Customer service excellence is non-negotiable—you're expected to set the tone for how employees engage with guests and to handle complaints and service gaps with judgment and creativity.
This role suits someone with one to two years of event management or related experience and a degree in hospitality, tourism, business administration, or a similar field. You should be comfortable with documentation, detail-oriented on billing and logistics, and skilled at communicating across departments and with clients. If you thrive on solving problems in real time and building strong customer relationships within a structured luxury hospitality environment, this is worth exploring.
