About this role
Working as a Banquet Driver at The Ritz-Carlton in Doha involves supporting the hotel's high-end events through setup, breakdown, and logistics. Your day centers on preparing banquet spaces—stocking and organizing work areas, managing linens, transporting equipment, and ensuring spaces meet the hotel's cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout service. You'll also assist other departments as needed and interact with guests in line with the property's service standards.
The role is physically demanding. You'll spend full shifts on your feet, moving between areas, lifting items up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance, and navigating stairs and service ramps. Attention to detail matters: maintaining organized stations, following clean-as-you-go procedures, and completing thorough closing duties. The position requires reliability with safety protocols, professional appearance, and the ability to work as part of a team toward shared service goals.
No prior banquet or hospitality experience is required—a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but the role welcomes candidates ready to learn. This is a full-time, in-office position suited to someone physically capable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced hotel environment.
