About this role
Supporting the General Counsel at Sony Interactive Entertainment means being far more than a scheduler—you'll be the operational backbone for the Legal, Public Policy & ESG function across a global organization. The role demands someone who can manage a complex, constantly shifting calendar across multiple time zones, coordinate high-stakes meetings and events, handle sensitive communications and expense processing, and serve as the trusted liaison between the executive leadership and teams throughout SIE and beyond. You'll need strong design and presentation skills to translate raw ideas into polished materials, and the judgment to represent the General Counsel professionally in initial contacts with internal and external stakeholders.
This position suits someone with at least eight years of executive support experience who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and can work independently on difficult projects with minimal oversight. You should be process-oriented and detail-focused, comfortable maintaining strict confidentiality, and genuinely energized by building relationships across all levels of the organization. The ability to coordinate seamlessly across time zones and cultural contexts is essential, as is strong written and verbal communication. If you're the kind of person who sees broken workflows and instinctively improves them, who brings people together naturally, and who wants to operate at the center of a major entertainment and technology company's legal and policy strategy, this hybrid role in San Mateo offers both the challenge and the platform to make a real impact.
