About this role

At this SpringHill Suites location in Roswell, the Maintenance Engineer role centers on keeping all building systems—HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment—running safely and efficiently. You'll handle routine repairs and preventive maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, the pool, and exercise facilities, completing work orders and documenting activities according to company procedures. The position requires hands-on work with tools and equipment, plus the ability to diagnose problems quickly and respond to guest requests in a hotel environment.

The ideal candidate has two to three years of maintenance experience in a hotel or commercial setting, with working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Trade certifications or licenses are valued but not required; a high school diploma is the baseline education needed. You'll need to be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, working both indoors and outdoors, and managing multiple tasks independently while collaborating with management and other departments.

This is a full-time, in-office position at $24 per hour. Note that you would be employed by the independent franchisee operating this property, not by Marriott International directly, though the role follows Marriott brand standards and safety requirements.
