About this role
Working as a Bar Assistant at Sazerac Bar means supporting the bartender and keeping operations running smoothly during service. Your day involves hands-on prep work—cutting garnishes and fruits, mixing juices, and organizing supplies—alongside stocking the bar with glassware, ice, produce, and other essentials. You'll also handle beer keg and tap maintenance, manage inventory by retrieving stock and reconciling orders, and keep the bar and storage areas clean and compliant with health and safety standards.
This role suits someone detail-oriented and physically capable who can work efficiently in a fast-paced bar environment. You'll need to be reliable, take ownership of your responsibilities, and work well as part of a team under the bartender's direction. Familiarity with hospitality standards and a willingness to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and regulatory compliance are important. This is a full-time, in-office position in New Orleans.
