About this role

Lincoln International's Amsterdam office is seeking interns to join their M&A advisory team for a four-month stint beginning May 2027. You'll work in-office alongside a small cohort of peers, contributing directly to live client work rather than shadowing from the sidelines. Your responsibilities will span the full deal lifecycle—from market and sector research through financial modeling, valuations, buyer analyses, and due diligence—with particular focus on pitches and deal documentation. The role demands strong analytical skills, business judgment, and meticulous attention to detail, alongside the ability to communicate findings clearly.

This internship is designed as a genuine entry point to the firm. Lincoln hires analysts from its intern pool, so strong performance can lead directly to a permanent role. You'll benefit from structured mentorship and regular feedback to accelerate your learning. The position suits ambitious third-year bachelor's or master's students with above-average grades and a demonstrated interest in M&A, ideally backed by relevant extracurricular involvement. Fluency in both Dutch and English is required.

Note that applications close 11 November 2026 and must include an official transcript of your grades to be considered.
