About this role

Silverado Lee's Summit, a nationally recognized memory care community, is looking for housekeepers to join their team on a part-time basis. You'd work multiple shifts—Saturday and Sunday mornings (7:00am–3:30pm) and Monday evenings (4:00pm–8:00pm)—maintaining clean, safe spaces throughout the community where residents with memory impairments live. The work involves standard housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas, with an emphasis on creating a dignified environment for people with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

This role suits someone reliable and detail-oriented who finds meaning in supporting vulnerable populations. While no prior experience is required, comfort working around older adults and animals, plus the physical capacity to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds, are essential. You'll need a high school diploma or GED, valid transportation, and fluency in English. Previous experience in assisted living, hospitality, or memory care is a plus but not a prerequisite.

Silverado offers competitive compensation ($17–$22/hour), paid training, and a solid benefits package including health and dental insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. The company is ranked among Fortune Magazine's top 10 Best Workplaces in Aging Services and is certified as a Great Place to Work, reflecting a genuine commitment to employee development and retention.
