About this role

Leading the Hilton Toronto's engineering operations means owning the full spectrum of facility management—from mechanical and electrical systems to life safety compliance and grounds maintenance. You'll direct daily operations while ensuring the building meets federal, state, and local regulations, manage preventive maintenance programs, oversee energy conservation initiatives, and handle facility inspections and documentation. This is hands-on operational leadership with direct accountability for guest safety and property integrity.

Beyond day-to-day facility management, you'll drive capital projects and property improvements from conception through completion, managing budgets, contractor bidding, permitting, and regulatory compliance. You'll also lead your engineering team through performance management, professional development, and retention initiatives while balancing guest service priorities, inventory control, and adherence to industry standards. The role demands someone comfortable with both the technical and people-management sides of facility leadership.

This is a full-time, in-office position filling an existing vacancy at a specific property. Hilton emphasizes core values around hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, and accountability—qualities the organization actively looks for in candidates at all levels.
