Description

At Navan, “It’s all about the user. All of them.” We’re passionate about creating seamless, personalized travel experiences for business travelers around the globe.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager, Flights for our Navan Edge team in Tel Aviv. Your mission is to build the next generation of flight booking: a high-converting, personalized agentic experience that helps frequent business travelers find and book the right flights with less effort.
You won’t just own flight data or funnel metrics; you’ll design the intelligent conversational flight experience behind Navan Edge, where AI understands traveler intent, applies personal preferences, compares options, explains trade-offs, and guides users from search to booking with confidence.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the Flights Product Experience: Lead the full flight journey, from destination intent and search to flight details, fare selection, checkout, confirmation, and post-booking engagement.
  • Design Agentic Flight Experiences: Build AI-driven workflows that help users search, compare, decide, and book flights through a mix of conversation, recommendations, proactive suggestions, and UI components.
  • Drive Flight Funnel Conversion: Identify friction points across the flight funnel and define the roadmap to improve search-to-booking, availability-to-checkout, checkout completion, and repeat booking rates.
  • Improve Search, Ranking, and Personalization: Partner with AI, data, and engineering teams to improve flight ranking, filters, recommendations, availability logic, and “why this flight” explanations based on traveler intent, loyalty, price, schedule, airline, fare rules, and past preferences.
  • Lead Experimentation: Design and run A/B tests across search results, flight details, fare selection, checkout, rewards messaging, onboarding flows, and AI-assisted booking experiences.
  • Connect Flights to the Full Trip Experience: Work across hotels, restaurants, itinerary, calendar, Gmail sync, and proactive travel use cases to make flights feel like part of one seamless business travel journey.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ Years of PM Experience: Proven experience building consumer, marketplace, travel, ecommerce, AI, or SaaS products.
  • Flights Product Experience: Experience building flight, airline, travel marketplace, OTA, or business travel products is strongly preferred.
  • Agentic Product Thinking: You understand how AI can move beyond static recommendations into guided decision-making, autonomous workflows, proactive suggestions, and personalized task completion.
  • Strong Funnel Conversion Skills: Deep understanding of conversion optimization, user drop-off analysis, checkout flows, experimentation, and growth metrics.
  • Data-Driven Product Thinking: You are comfortable with funnel dashboards, cohort analysis, A/B testing, behavioral analytics, and turning insights into roadmap decisions.
  • Strong Product Taste: You know what a great flight-shopping experience should feel like: fast, clear, trustworthy, personalized, and easy to complete.
  • Commercial Instincts: You understand how flight product decisions affect conversion, margin, supplier performance, loyalty, and repeat usage.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: You can align design, engineering, AI, data, marketing, operations, and business stakeholders around a clear product strategy.
  • The Traveler’s Heart: You understand the messy reality of business travel and want to make flight booking feel effortless, reliable, and rewarding.

About this role

Navan is building an AI-driven flight booking experience for business travelers, and this role puts you at the center of that transformation. As Senior Product Manager for Flights on the Navan Edge team, you'll own the entire flight journey—from initial search intent through booking and beyond—designing conversational, agentic workflows that use AI to understand traveler preferences, compare options, and guide users to purchase with minimal friction. This isn't about managing data or dashboards; it's about rethinking how people actually book flights when they're busy and traveling for work.

You'll drive conversion across the full funnel by identifying and eliminating friction points, partnering closely with AI, data, and engineering teams to improve ranking, personalization, and availability logic. You'll run continuous A/B tests on search results, fare selection, checkout flows, and AI-assisted experiences, then translate those insights into roadmap decisions. The role also requires connecting flights to the broader trip experience—hotels, itineraries, calendar sync, proactive travel alerts—so booking feels like one seamless journey rather than isolated transactions.

This role demands 5+ years of product experience, ideally in travel, marketplaces, or ecommerce, with a strong preference for direct flights product background. You'll need sharp funnel conversion instincts, comfort with data analysis and experimentation, and the ability to lead cross-functionally across design, engineering, AI, and business teams. Most importantly, you need genuine empathy for the chaos of business travel and conviction that great product design can make it simpler and more reliable. The position is full-time, in-office in Tel Aviv.
