About this role
At The Ritz-Carlton's Budapest location, the Guest Arrival Expert role centers on shaping how guests experience the hotel from the moment they arrive through departure. You'll be the first and last impression, handling everything from welcoming arrivals and processing operational needs to addressing requests, managing luggage and packages, and sharing local insights. The position requires initiative and problem-solving within a luxury hospitality setting where attention to detail and genuine service directly shape the guest experience.
The work is physically active—you'll be on your feet for extended periods, moving throughout the arrival and departure areas, and regularly handling items up to 50 pounds independently or heavier items with assistance. Beyond the physical demands, success depends on maintaining professional appearance and communication, following company procedures, protecting guest confidentiality, and upholding the quality standards Ritz-Carlton is known for. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; no prior hospitality experience is required.
This is a full-time, in-office position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in creating positive first impressions, and is comfortable with the physical and interpersonal demands of guest-facing hotel work.
