About this role
At Hilton's Schiphol location, you'd manage food and beverage operations during assigned shifts, balancing hands-on involvement with leadership responsibilities. Your day involves overseeing opening and closing procedures, maintaining Hilton's service standards and cleanliness across the outlet, handling guest requests directly, and ensuring the team delivers consistent excellence. You'll act as the operational bridge between waitstaff and supervisors, coordinating breaks, motivating team members, and conducting daily briefings to keep everyone aligned.
This role suits someone with one to two years of shift-level F&D leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. You'll need strong organizational and communication skills, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, solid knowledge of wine and food offerings, and genuine comfort motivating others. The position requires flexibility for evenings and weekends, and fluency in English is essential for coordinating with a diverse team and international guests.
Hilton emphasizes its hospitality values—integrity, teamwork, ownership, and urgency—as central to the role and workplace culture. If you're looking for a full-time position where you can lead operationally while staying engaged on the floor, and you're drawn to working for a company with a strong reputation for workplace culture, this could be a solid fit.
